Clearly if the farm in isnt a major then the SP is going to be hit at least in the short term, not only because there may be concerns the farm in partner doesnt have the requisite technical skills and experience in exploration nor the financial capacity to take things forward if gas is found, but also for the simple fact that it would represent MEO having no remaining credibility in relation to their announcements. I would sell immediately because it would represent the last straw if it isnt an "international major" or a "household name" as Jurgen represented to the market. Clearly a lot of us are patiently taking a "proof is in the pudding" approach and willing to forgive past delays in light of management's assetions that this represents more than a simple farm in with an international indepedent major- if they dont deliver to their own self-imposed descriptions then im out. Cairns Energy to me doenst represent an international major nor a household name.
