I recently saw that a company in the US that seems to have done exactly what the ATN device was supposed to have done is being taken to court by the major film studios. The device has a hard disk and can read/write DVDs. In addition, it has a rather nice feature of automatically screening out advertisements as it records...very nice but very threatening to the sponsors!!!!!

If I remember the name of the company I'll post it or perhaps soemone else will remember.
