Monetary policy is all they’ve got.
Unfortunately, the wimps that masquerade as politicians these days do not have the courage to use fiscal policy as it should be used.
Much easier for the weak buggers to just let the RBA take the blame if it gos pear shaped.
In my humble opinion we haven’t had leaders since Hawke/Keating and Howard’s early years.
Maybe that’s why the sharemarket is trading at levels it did in 2007
