No new one open short position doesn't mean short activity is decreasing, it is coordinate attack the way I see it, same group can short today and cover next day and short again, volume like on Nasdaq, 1 million share can do the trick day by day. they can sell to themselves to bring the SP down without loss any share, gap on Nas between asking and selling are huge when no buyer step in that is easy to manipulate, as long they keep it in red, they can buy low everyday. basically they have made 50% profit since the Amgen deal from the weak hand, all my eggs are safe, remember when you in red that just paper loss, real loss is when you sell.

But having said that, if you think the SP is going to go 5c, you can sell now and buy low later, if tomorrow come a big ANN, you will miss the boat. simple

Don't invest in a company base on the daily SP movement, nothing will always green, and nothing will always red, fundamental is the key.
