There are very few areas that fair well when stock markets do badly... But from memory in 2008 they were things like health, food, medical.
Could you now add Fintech and Bitcoin companies to that list. Pretty rare combination and the only one that exists on the ASX. Maybe 1 or 2 more on world markets.
Yes, DCC have probably completed stopped mining and rightly so with the tanking price. But if/when the bitcoin price improve, DCC will fire up their mining rigs and take advantage.
