Well at one stage there was talk that given the data they had on the blocky sands they wouldn't really need to test them at all Mr.H, just for show you might say. So maybe they didn't want to spend the money proving the obvious.
@mandurah - I think you can't compare the N-S FAR artistic seismic section directly with Cairns NW - SE extrapolations anyway - FAR definitely doesn't have two blocky sands present, Cairn NW - SE projections suggest there would be, though we have never been shown any details of the dip away and any towards the periphery thinning out to the north east and therein lies the problem I think.
