A 21-year-old motorcyclist has been charged after being clocked travelling at 150 kilometres per hour on Perth's Mitchell Freeway.
Police spotted the motorbike in the emergency lane of the freeway in Leederville on Tuesday afternoon.
The rider was then seen weaving in and out of traffic.
An officer positioned himself ahead of the motorcyclist and motioned for him to pull over but it is alleged he accelerated and drove towards the policeman.
The man was arrested further up the freeway by another officer.
He told police he had suffered a temporary brain snap.
The man, from Padbury, has had his bike seized under anti-hoon laws.
