There is a reason for my question as you may well know.
The prophecies had to be met. He had to be from the House of David. And so He was. But if you read the Gospels, he had two different grand fathers.
What I would like to know is if God made a deliberate mistake in directing the disciples what to write or if there is another answer.
Its not a hard question I would have thought.
