TomH is right.
But the "debate" as you call it is not a debate.
It's an anti-fossil fuels rant.
The ends justifies the means. Lies, spin and fear - no integrity just "No Fossil Fuels".
It's not even about politics.
"No Fossil Fuels" is not very popular you see, so they obtain an army of mercenaries by preying on the most vulnerable people in the community to believe their lies.
Then they invent terms like "Social Licence"... Suddenly the media and politicians catch on and then it becomes a witch hunt.
Science wins the war though. These guys win a few battles. They win over some vulnerable politicians and/or public servants but they lose the war.
Why ?
Because in the end, after a bit of research, those who have been fooled discover they have been "had".
Once bitten twice shy.
So the future remains bright for Metgasco. You just need patience.
