Yeah I've noticed that too poly, IRCC, the directors are being paid around 2.5 million a year, and on top of that every 100 million of coal they find (to a limit of 500 million), they get a 20 million dollar reward either cash or shares (I think this might've been amended to only shares, incoming MASSIVE dilution). It seems to me like a big paycheck, but I'm not too familiar with compensation regimes of small exploration companies, are they usually this generous? That being said, I like their coal tenements, well situated in the Galilee basin, in which the Linc Energy recently sold a tenement for 500 million and a royalty, and other prominent coal basins.
So, pros: awesome tenement holdings, well capitalized with exploration (and management paychecks) paid for two years, smart management from what I can tell, cons: management seem to have an impressive payday coming up if they find over 100 million coal, which will dilute the shareholdings.
You know what they say though, 10% of something is better than 100% of nothing...
P.S. Would you know if they are hiring management? I wouldn't mind going into coal if that's the payrate :D.
