OK- so China currently boast, that they're focusing on controlling the worlds lithium battery production.
We know they have their own supply, and were once (maybe still) invested in the Congo for lithium to avoid western supply lines.
My post was all about the fact that we are at the mercy of upstream demand. (At least for now)
So, I think loading the eggs in one basket with Asia during a trade war ....not a great idea.
When I see China choosing South American Cherries over Australian Cherries due to whatever.
I think to myself, South American Brine ready to market lithium over hard rock Aus spod that requires Li extraction....hmmm
