Papertigger, the Argentines can pay and have paid their debt commitments. The latest spat is about a foreign equity fund trying to get 100% when everyone else has accepted and been paid out 30% (plus interest) to the dollar. I'd also refuse to pay the 100% if I was in Kirchner's situation, I'd point to the queue and say wait in line like everybody else and on the same terms. They're offering to pay out 30% plus interest on those bonds, but the greed of people knows no bounds :/
