First I've heard of mml being impecunious. They are producing gold for approx $600 an oz in malaysia so it seems unlikely to me they'll be reneging on their staged financial commitments. Plus gcy is getting an equivalent stake in mml and I have every confidence the board has done their due diligence as they have more skin in the game than anyone (not to mention an excellent track record for maximizing shareholder value).
The problem is the mentality of the market imo. Few speculative stocks are trading near value. I dont know when that will change but LT believe mml have made a good deal which evidences a much higher market value for gcy being justified as per the evans & partners research report of 5/9/14.
All that said, I have the inclination to buy more but a falling knife is dangerous to catch.
