Share price for PPT seems extraordinarily low. Having said that, Platinum is also down a fair bit (which is also a quality stock) and IOOF has been hammered (inferior stock).
Is it a stockmarket / sector thing, or have others heard news? Apart from the market I can only think of 2 possible reasons:
1. The fund PPT runs that guarantees a set return, with investments typically in debt securities (ie. PPT have already disclosed $18 million provision here, although only $5 million stated to be non-recoverable.
2. PPT is often mentioned with MFS due to their trustee function for a / some funds.
