Frantic global temperature measurements do show a slight cooling since 1998. If pointing that out makes Bolt an idiot in your eyes then so be it, and I might just add that I am not a big fan of Bolt. As GZ posted the summers feel milder lately and I agree. He also said the winters feel milder but where I live we have had a few very cold winters recently. Right now though it is warmer than usual because of some unseasonal very wet weather which is greening things up after the heavy frost of two weeks ago. Dave R.
