The project GDY working on is an ESG system, something that has yet been proved to be economic. Germany has demonstrated the ESG system does work, but they demonstrated at a much shallower depth than many Aussie geothermals are currently working on.
On the other hand, the flagship project PAX working on is the conventional system, which would require less risk, capital as well as time to develop.
PAX is the no brainer.
