tony abbott won the election in terms of primary votes. But, unfortunately for him and Australia, he was pipped at the post by independents who decided to install the party most likely to lose, if another election were to be held.

anyway, time to move on.

the NBN always was a vote buying exercise.
But now the issue is - will it raise productivity in any way?
will the government ever get a return on the money they spent?
or could that money be better spent?
eg a super fast train or water infrastructure of some kind

As far as I can see is that Labor politicians have used the NBN to get elected.
All we have got for this spend is Labor politicians living off the fat of the land and swanning around as if they own place.
like in "animal farm", the pigs have turned into humans.
