Why would EU provide money to EUR? So that TS can loan it out to his other companies? As opposed to EMH operating Geomet which is majority owned by a European energy utility that's majority (partially? Can't remember) owned by an EU country.
Despite TS claiming EUR will be Europe next lithium mine, they are well behind EMH.
and while yes both are to a certain extent re-entering existing mines, EMH is in a region that will be much more impacted by the shift away from coal, so more appropriate target for Just Transition funds.
