That's an interesting and helpful summary. As I read it one thing struck me though I don't know exactly what to make of it. There seems to be a lot of what for want of a better description I'd call "suck it and see". I couldn't help wondering how well they really knew their market, behaviour of customers and the nature of the competitive environment. Of course most businesses find things out as they go along but it can cost a lot of money. The scatter gun approach to sales wouldn't have helped on that front - while it might have given an understanding of a range of issues maybe it didn't allow depth of understanding initially and it is only now they are really getting a grip on that.

in short we can say they are determine to fix all issues but whether they can or not remains the question! certainly they are going in the right direction though..
