Thanks for taking the time to pass on this detail hotcop9. I for one feel more reassured to hear of the significant progress they are making in what is always going to be a lengthy process. The market for Fire/heat resistant uniforms is much broader than the military & services. Mines for example are looking for heat/fire resistant clothes for their electricians to reduce the harm caused by hv switching incidents. I suspect this will apply to many other industries. The clothes currently on offer are not sufficiently comfortable to be adopted - especially in the warmer climes. Alexium & partner(s) appear to be well on the way to addressing this very significant shortcoming. GLTA
