This is exactly what they are planning to do. To get shareholders sick and tired of this stock, and either sell out (To them), or vote for the Scheme they have put in front of us.
IMHO, don't give up as yet because, while the sp could retreat, it will soon bounce back up as soon as this show has been pushed aside and out of the CTP doors.
