Actually bacchus, I WAS saying that there are many more like you now, than ever before - and it's actually what Smyth wants, for some twisted reason that I will never comprehend. He WANTS high volume and trading - an unnatural need for a CEO in my opinion.
One could come up with a pretty logical and sinister motivation for such. Combined with the endless emails and meet ups with those he knows will spread the word over the internet on his behalf in the lead up to well leaked announcements...
I always feel I have to disclose 'not a down ramp' if saying something bad. The above is a possible, absolute worst case scenario thought that has entered my head a lot of times, and I don't think I'm out of line for thinking it or hinting at it. No one is above scrutiny.
Probably not a great thing to be so sceptical, but at the same time I have seen much worse in the world of business from much more prominent people. Nothing would shock me.
