    Thanks 123enen,

With regard to your first link:

    http://www.pinksheets.com/pink/otcguide/investors_market_tiers.jsp

Not a bad way of ranking shares me thinks.... good to see CTVWF (the USA CVI on the OTCBB) was 7th up from the bottom (5th down from the top) of the 11 tiers..... top of the "Transparent" group of classifications, not quite in the "Trusted" top 4 tiers. Maybe with more solid financial backing and some definite projects carried succesfully to fruition, they can progress up a few tiers. The more the company moves up in tiers the less chance of it ending in tears.

    From your second link:

"How do stocks become listed on the NASDAQ?

Pinks and/or Bulletin Board stocks can evolve and eventually apply for listing on the NASDAQ market, American Stock Exchange (AMEX) or the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). There are two levels of the NASDAQ markets, each with different requirements. The first level is the NASDAQ Small Cap market. The next tier up is the NASDAQ National Market System which has the highest standards. The AMEX and NYSE have their own requirements as well. Where a stock is listed is determined by a variety of factors including the company’s assets and how long they been in existence."

Let's hope the CVI vessel can move up the OTCBB tiers and maybe even one day list on the NYSE or AMEX.

Good, informative stuff 123nen. Thanks, makes things a bit more clear.
