I've got a store in one of the arcades in the city centre, trade will get back closer to normal a few weeks after a lockdown ends. It's what's happened every lockdown. We'll be lucky to do $200/day for the next week or so, it doesn't cover wages and it doesn't cover overhead variable expenses. It's easier for us to keep that store closed and save almost $1,000 per day.

It's more that businesses might be reluctant to run at the loss, rather than just keep everything on standby.
