Read previous announcements. They are the sole supplier for flame retardants for the new uniform. The new unifrom manufactured by the NATICK prime contractors is undergoing field trials in December, the mechanics of this was highlighted quite well at the AGM. Importantly, the field trial does not relate to the flame retardancy but the actual uniform: how does the new camouflage pattern work in practice, are the pockets in the right places etc. This has nothing to do with Alexium or its technologies. At the end of Dec feedback forms are collected from the GIs in the field and unless they throw a hissy fit because say the new earth tones of the camouflage print doesn't go with their skin tone then the new FRACU will be rolled out across the board.
