(BTW that's just a bit of a laugh, I actually have no idea when we'll hear news, but a common timescale given back in 2010 in emails was 'one to two weeks'. Much to the annoyance of everyone one to two weeks always meant one to two months).

More laid back now though. It'll happen when it happens. The last thing we were told was a May spud date- so take that to mean towards the end of May is my advice, given we haven't mobilised yet.

Once the rig actually gets there though, it's going to be embarking on a permenant drilling campaign (Edeco are advertising jobs for Georgia as permenant positions), so at least once it gets there, we won't ever be sat around like this drilling nothing again. In the context of field development and proving up of reserves which will take a few years, a month or so's delay is not that big a deal.
