Last weekend there were news stories all over of cases of the h5n1 virus being resistant to Tamiflu and in most cases they said that Relenza WAS effective.
These stories dissapeared with no retractions. I find this very strange. Are the press covering up the fact that Tamiflu may not be as effective as everyone expects so as not to cause panic or was it just a beatup?
I would assume that if it were true there may be some major interest in relenza to try to balance the stockpiles.
