There are very different cultural structures between India and China. Although India has recently 'banned' the cast system, it is one that has existed for 1000's of years.

I agree with your comments about China, however India in my opinion will have different key drivers for growth, and remember, is a democracy.

Coupled with a significant Islamic population in border areas and Islamic neighbours, the f*ckup happening in the middle east has the potential to spread and destabilse other regions. Also, the recent ratification of the US Senate to supply Uranium to India may not be viewed favourably by Pakistan.

In any case, right now that is neither here nor there, as unrivaled economic growth in whatever form is on our doorstep.
