If Julia Gillard had a case to answer in the performance of her duties as PM she should be held to account for that. Such matters can become very serious; as we saw under John Howard's Govt. with the AWB scandal, the invasion of Iraq and no WMDs, Children Overboard, SIEVX, ...

But to the best of my knowledge there are no such allegations [as yet?] against Gillard or her government.

Allegations of incompetence, waste and mismanagement are another matter altogether. Of course, broken election promises are just that; it is the voting public at election time that judges all of these matters!
