Wonder if he'll be replaced? It's a shame actually because having studied the trial information in detail from the recent poster and finally got an expert oncologist's opinion, I was really hoping to put the following questions to the CMO, but perhaps I'll ask these of the CEO instead at the AGM!
1. Will the company present or publish the details for the literature analysis reported in one of their releases that apparently shows statistical significant result for the device over " state of the art" chemotherapy.
2. What do they think of Celgene's trial results posted recently showing almost 19 month median survival in 100 patients with the same disease as the OSL trial (locally advanced, non-resectable) given gemcitabine plus abraxane (which the majority of patients got in OSL trial as background).
3. When will they get final result for median survival in OSL trial because what's reported in poster was incomplete- I'm told 16 months is reasonable but the 95% confidence levels are quite wide and show the actual result could be only 11 months.
4. With their resection rate which also looks good at 24%, what's the confidence level around that (due to small sample) and how strict was the trial protocol in ensuring only patients with truly unresectable cancer got in, and " borderline" resectable patients didn't get in by accident, which could create some bias and boost the result. Apparently oncologists and surgeons would definitely want to know that.
