the "flop" you refer to was a study testing chemo after patients already resected, the best group of patients. Abraxane treated patients still got 40 (yes FORTY) month median survival. And the 8.5 months you refer to is from the study in metastatic pancreas cancer, the worst patient group in this cancer. OSL is targeting unresectable locally advanced pancreas cancer- a very different stage of the disease. I thought as a fan of the stock you'd have understood this point.
anyway this isn't about Celgene, this is about trying to understand the OSL trial results in detail and how the company intends to get BSI to do a complete 180 when 6 months ago the same trial data got an " insufficient clinical benefit" decision from the regulator. Does anybody know anything about the meeting with BSI that was announced 6 months ago? And now the announcement about the two most important executives outside the CEO and board leaving within a week of each other adds further intrigue...
