If we had a hot Xmas, (one of endless others over the years) then the headlines would be telling us it’s climate change. Now that it is a cool Xmas, they have all shut up shop and can’t make money from rolling out their usual dooms day reports. They are starting to believe their own BS. The govt are very thankful though, since it justifies them spending a trillion bucks on a toxic alternative. The media have weakened their reality around weather and climate. It’s morphed into the same thing when it suits them. One hot day/week, does not constitute climate change. Yet the headlines start screaming the same stuff. It’s just them ramming home the same fear message. Some of these journos have chugged so much hive mind honey, they have forgotten how the basics work. When we get bush fires, the SMH has headlines like ‘Is this the new normal’! That is just fear mongering. Yes, it is normal to have bush fires. No doubt this journo smelt and saw smoke in Paddington and sh*t himself. Maybe someone should tell him Sydney is surrounded by bushland. According to this bloke, Everyone should race out and adopt a Koala and stick it in the fridge. Might be better to freeze to death instead. The same journo probably bought an EV without doing any research. Saving the planet, one dead child at a time. If we accept that change is happening anyway, then what makes them think it’s all going to be bad! They can’t actually tell people that unless they want to visit the unemployment line. I can’t see the editor of the people’s daily allowing that thought to find some ink.
