Given we were ground down to submission prior to the plebiscite and Tony's sullied reputation, there could be a case that the nation voted the way it did, in part, to spite him. He should probably have kept quiet if that is at all possible, if he wanted a different outcome. One things for sure, he won't get a playing contract with Rugby Australia or the NRL.
