What happened to the Liberal Party?, page-86

I think I would prefer all independents and maybe there would be some genuine discussion in Parliament, at he moment we get tantrums, Dorothy Dix questions and caucus decisions that have to be followed by each party regardless of how the constituents think. (or the individual member)
I do think that most polys go into politics to make a change for the good but unless they are an extremely strong character and orator they don,t stand a chance so then they just go along for the ride.
Other than that we should keep our seats marginal, we don,t see any polys visiting safe seats at election time, and we don,t get anything done in a safe seat.
