I seem to remember they were not getting the expected percentage of silver from the stacks. Maybe the method of using sprinkler delivered leaching agent rather than feeding it directly into the ground would have an impact (not my field). If they cant get the quantity out they planned to that would push up costs.
The other thing is, as they have put operations at the mine on hold do they have to shut down the leaching process and pregnant pond to best manage the environmental aspects.
No Operations, No Silver, No Cash Flow - No Hope?
