Got to agree with you. The FCN story is a myth !
JBM probably has way too much cash sloshing around and made a poor choice. Such a thing is not unheard of.
Look at IGO's investment in MRX. Everyone applied the same heory that IGO are not mugs. When the BFS came out the project was a dog and all including IGO have had the value of their investment halved.
