Without the usual "colourful" comments that usually surround anything with the name AB attached to it can anybody rationally fill me in on whether AB released a later retraction of this statement or whether it simply "slipped quietly through the cracks" and was forgotten with the passage of time because very obviously he did not follow through with his promise.
