The complaint won't go anywhere, every statement comes out with a competent persons statement which states to the best Of the knowledge it's true and correct they will be able to piont at log analysis to show where they thought there was oil and samples that where interpreted as oil. They have done nothing untoward except have a duster. Appea will back them and ASIC won't do a thing or can't do a thing as any false or misleading statement would have to be clarified and referred by appea, as any statement to the market comes under the guise of an appea competent persons statement. Remember ASIC will only act on untoward trading not on a statement under appea which to the best of there knowledge. Hope this helps.
