It went something like this:
Huge profit downgrade
Instos rushed for the door at the same time
Mug punters were stunned like rabbits in a cars headlights
Mug punters prayed for a miracle
Miracle never arrived and they sold near the bottom
Bargain hunters came in and hoovered some stock to cover shorts.
Price has now stablised, where it will stay until management releases (re)forecast 2006 numbers

Bottom line is
Yes - you have done your cash cold.
If 2006 numbers look bad, todays price will look pretty good in hindsight
Most importantly, management credibility is totally in shreds and will not be restored for many, many months (if at all)
