The Maritime union are currently holding a ballot to see if its members want to take protected action due to a breakdown in EBA negotiations, its not really correct to blame the "tug strike" on today's slide as it may not happen at all and if it does its at least two weeks away. Try Iron ore futures tanking and Asia markets spiralling downwards for better justification.
