You must be new to the market. The number of times I've seen the share price slow to react to news - or even initially react one way, then reverse and react the opposite way. It's very simplistic to think it can only react one way.
As for your second point, there's nothing to remember since your statement is also wrong. Visa does not charge interest at all. They're a transaction interchange network company. Any interest is charged by the merchant banks utilising the Visa network - so "Visa is not a credit company" either - they make their $ from the network, and resellers.
