just a couple of things on your theory.
The qc and temp issues happened after that meeting i can garauntee that which are a couple of things that lead me to believe that all was very very rosy at taht meeting.
But i think your onto something that sought of ties into my theory.
The statement in there re marketing to the world is one of the points that leads me to think that we have upset them by seeking a partner / licensing.
MAybe siyi thought they were going to get the whole box and dice not just asia, it really is the way i read it.

Plus i have to disagree re the website, whilst you are spot on re the mboard and emails if they have any news they update the website in a heartbeat.
Just look at the sbl visit and the mps conference they were on there within a day or two after the events.
Ver very quick in anyones book.
