cos PDN needs to get 80% before compulsorily taking the remainder 20% - i think ???

i even remember with RPT options - back when they were taken over my Mega U.... in the last few days some of the oppies were bought for way, way, way higher amounts than what the take-over offer was offering.... and this was at a time when Mega U has actually about 90%+ of RPT.... so i couldn't work that one out - I thought that it must have been Mega U via a fundie or finance house, picking up the remainder....cos who else would pay almost double of what they were about to get from Mega U.... but then i couldn't figure out why Mega U would have gone and bought on-market cos they could compulsorily pick up all that was remaining for cheaper off the market (cos they went past the 80% threshold).....

how this is going to go with SMM - who knows ?

it's just unfortunate that PDN is so fully valued at present time..... it's going to be a tough ask for its sp to go 2 or 3 times higher over.. although it still may happen.... once they get SMM, they will have about 270 Mlbs U..... i have no doubt that with 12 months of further resource delineation and another takeover, that they will have about 350 to 400Mlbs of U resources drilled out by the end of 2008.....
In their 20th March presentation, they indicate ''New development projects'' with mid-07 to mid-08 as the BFS stage, and then construction over 2009 etc.... so they could have 8Mlbs U production from 2 exisiting mines by end 2010 + 3 or 4Mlbs or whatever they get from 3rd mine (will it be Valhalla ??? i sure hope so !!!!)
