I just sold my shares at the 45 cent offer. I could have sold for more a few weeks ago, but I thought it was worthwhile to hold on to see if a further offer came through. It didn't, and in this market I am happy to take my profits and look for bargains elsewhere.
Now for those who haven't sold, Aurora has extended the offer by a few days, and I suspect that most of the remainder of the shares will sell by then, but I suspect not all of them will do so. It seems likely that, for a variety of reasons, there will be a few shares here and there that Aurora does not pick up.
If Aurora gets 90% control, I understand they can acquire the rest on the same terms as the current offer. What happens, however, if they retain majority control as they currently have, but don't break 90%. What is likely to happen to the share price and the remaining shareholders?
