    Probably indicates what I was on the other thread, that people buy in anticipation of index participation.

    I did do a similar analysis and found that some stocks fell away after inclusion and most of those were resource/mining stocks that had a run up in price well before inclusion, most likely due to commodity price buoyancy, then fell out of favour in the asx 300 due to drop in commodities
