They wanted all PLS and failed 3 years ago. Next year, almost 50% of PLS Spodumene will be heading to our Posco JV in South Korea. Chinese converters will have to be on their best behavior to keep existing off take contracts as ROW conversion capacity is on its way. PLS could easily shut off supply and make a nice profit running at 50% if things get dirty.
Miners are in the box seat and current market jawboning is a sign of desperation.
