I am just grateful to be living in Gold Coast now :-0) Lots of problems ahead for South Africa and the falling gold price could cause some serious riots and unrest. Like you mentioned, thousands of workers could be out of work is not going to be pretty. I don't follow the country that closely anymore but I refuse to buy a share with mines, assets in South Africa or Africa....been there done that...

I rather pay the higher salaries in first world countries
