As a retired Earthmoving Contractor & should a Well be commercially productive I would truck in enough gravel or hard base fill to a depth of 10 to 12 inches/250MM--300mm to weather proof the operational site, this allows ongoing production through the wet season filling storage holding tanks, but it is easy to make those statements living on the edge of the Gold Coast.
