First off I have to thank all the regular and very informative posters on UMC. Thanks to you I started buying at $1.20 and then topped up again at $1.04 when the Opres Prime struck. Better late than never :)
Buffett, in regards to your comment on finding the next BIG thing, I have been going through the Iron Ore sector and there is potential in a few, but I have yet to find any with the grades, low impurities, location and management of UMC.
However some I like are GIR, ROY, POL, SRK and PLV. I hold some of these or varying reasons, but overall I do not think any have all the factors of UMC or their MC has run ahead of the stage they are at.
I would be interested in any comments.
