    My guess:
    Management say that they know nothing because this is the start of a hostile takeover that, even if they do have an idea about it, they wouldn't need to report as information that only they have.
    Why else would the price reach 5.6c? Surely nobody has been speculatively buying at that price? On the off chance that it goes to 10c? And becomes a $100M+ company that plans on doing nothing other than litigate and review operations for the next year?

    This has to be a take-over.
